In order to bring planes to a different destination. I have decided to land it in Rio. Bring my culture to the brand. Rio not only represents the uniquess of Brazil but also how streetwear grew in a tropical scenarion. The brand and the location was perfectly aligned. In partnership with Poppins, a Brazilian production company. We have devided the photshoot in two parts: spring 24 with its beaachy feel and Summer 24 that represents the different shades of summer in correlation with sports.  I made sure that most of the creatives in the photoshoot were Brazilian and that they would capture the country with respect and understanding what it represents. Amanda Adasz, not only a photographer but a brilliant creative mind played an very important role in this campaign. We were also able to collaborate with Hypebeast Brazil and was featured on their instagram twice.

Marcela Bacelo, a Brazilian designer and recipient of the prestigious Sillas Rhode Scholarship at SVA NY, began her career with Brazilian agencies like plenty and sesh, gaining valuable product management experience. Upon her move to New York, Marcela excelled at Roc Nation as a Design and Artist Marketing Resident, contributing to merchandise and strategic marketing for artists such as Alicia Keys and Megan Thee Stallion.  Simultaneously, she served as Editor-in-Chief at Visual Opinion, overseeing the production of over 10 magazines at SVA. Graduating with honors, Marcela joined Paper Planes, an affiliated Roc Nation clothing brand, showcasing her expertise in various fashion roles, including design, tech packs, campaign ideation, and production oversight. Recognized for her unique fashion sense, Marcela has been featured in magazines like Costume Denmark and HypeBae. With a versatile skill set encompassing graphic design, UX/UI, set direction, branding, and fashion design, Marcela is a dynamic designer ready to make a lasting impact.
