George Esteve, a prominent skateboarder hailing from Brazil, successfully captured the attention of audiences across the United States. In 2023, he ventured into the realm of fashion by launching his own clothing brand, Human Extinction. Marcela was enlisted to conceptualize and design the brand's logo, which evolved into a distinctive ring emblem and a striking clothing tag. Beyond logo creation, Marcela played a pivotal role in establishing the brand's online presence. Utilizing her expertise, she developed a visually captivating and seamlessly functional website on the Shopify platform. Her keen eye for design ensured that the website not only showcased the brand's aesthetic but also provided a user-friendly experience for visitors. In addition to her contributions, Marcela's designs for Human Extinction garnered significant attention in the entertainment world. Prestigious artists such as Tyga and Rich the Kid were spotted donning Human Extinction pants during the Vulture tour, further solidifying the brand's presence in the fashion scene. Marcela's innovative designs resonated with these influential figures, showcasing her ability to create apparel that effortlessly merges style with street culture.





Marcela Bacelo, a Brazilian designer and recipient of the prestigious Sillas Rhode Scholarship at SVA NY, began her career with Brazilian agencies like plenty and sesh, gaining valuable product management experience. Upon her move to New York, Marcela excelled at Roc Nation as a Design and Artist Marketing Resident, contributing to merchandise and strategic marketing for artists such as Alicia Keys and Megan Thee Stallion.  Simultaneously, she served as Editor-in-Chief at Visual Opinion, overseeing the production of over 10 magazines at SVA. Graduating with honors, Marcela joined Paper Planes, an affiliated Roc Nation clothing brand, showcasing her expertise in various fashion roles, including design, tech packs, campaign ideation, and production oversight. Recognized for her unique fashion sense, Marcela has been featured in magazines like Costume Denmark and HypeBae. With a versatile skill set encompassing graphic design, UX/UI, set direction, branding, and fashion design, Marcela is a dynamic designer ready to make a lasting impact.
