I choose Ana Elisa Egraja, a contemporary
Brazilian artist. After researching her work, I decided to call this exhibition “Contemporary Archeology - what humans leave behind in the 21st century.”. She explores abandoned homes and recreates scenarios that make them look like a home and bring the typical middle-class Brazilian aesthetics. Thus it touches the imaginarium world with a nostalgic feeling.
The book is perfect-binded and printed on eggshell paper. It is divided into two parts. There are pages about the artists, her concept, and their work processes in the initial spreads. Later on, it has one spread that works as a table of content for the artwork; it marks the second part of the book. The paintings ate displayed in many different ways throughout the book.
